Primer

What color and what kind ? Well as far as color I only use black primer.Useing black primer will make black lineing easier, and for me it is more forgiving when painting large models. There is nothing whorse then painting layer after layer , just to cover up white primer.Or for the blend/color your trying to achive to remain to bright or to light because of the base coat (White primer).
There are also many primers on the market. From 12 dollar cans to cheap .99 cent spray paints. They all do the same thing, prime your model, and help the paint stick to them.My favorite brand can be found at Wal-Mart, "Color Place" black spray paint. You can not beat it at .99 cents a can.
Rember before primeing to clean up all your mold lines, and to not spay them on a humid day. The humidity can cause the primer or paint to crack when drying. This happens because your bottom layer is still wet while your top layer has already dryed.Thank you for takeing the time to read this and I hope it helps out.

Black lineing was easey, due to black primer. And paying attention to laying down your coats of paint.
